Founder & Executive Producer
A self-taught filmmaker, producer, writer, artist, and singer-songwriter, he is an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus in Germany and the Asian Film Academy in South Korea, where he was awarded the BFC & SHOCS Scholarship Fund. Since 2005, he has been actively working in the film industry, producing and directing a range of short and feature films that have been showcased and recognized at prestigious national and international film festivals. Beyond filmmaking, he is also the co-founder of Bosan Berisik Lab, an interdisciplinary collective that empowers emerging filmmakers, artists, and writers to create innovative and experimental works across various media. In addition, he founded Ruang Basbeth Bercerita, a publishing platform and personal creative space dedicated to exploring free writing, narratives, and storytelling within broader social and cultural contexts—reflecting his multifaceted practice as an artist, filmmaker, writer, and singer-songwriter

CEO & Producer
Nugroho currently serves as CEO and Producer at Matta Cinema Production. With over three decades of experience as a journalist and writer, he brings a strong background in media and storytelling to his role in the film industry. A graduate of the Sociology Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, Nugroho began his career as a journalist at the economics and business tabloid KONTAN before joining TEMPO Media Group. Over the years, he held several key editorial positions and most recently served as Managing Editor for Economics and Business across TempoMagazine, Koran Tempo, and Tempo.co

Head of Production & Producer
Imran Hasibuan, born in Medan and a graduate of the National University of Jakarta, is an accomplished editor, writer, and film producer. Over the course of 25 years, he established a distinguished career in publishing, producing more than 40 books—primarily biographies of fluential Indonesian figures—while also contributing as a journalist and media consultant. In recent years, Imran has expanded his creative practice into film and the performing arts, co-producing the landmark theater roduction of WS Rendra’s Panembahan Reso (2020) and producing feature films including Taufiq: The Man Against the Storm (2019) and Terima Kasih Emak Terima Kasih Abah (2021). Since 2023, he has been serving as a lead producer at Matta Cinema Production, where he continues to develop impactful works in cinema and cultural storytelling.

Project Development Manager & Producer
Ary Aristo is an Indonesian filmmaker and documentarian with over twenty years of experience in television journalism and documentary production for film, series, and new media. A graduate of the Jakarta Institute of Arts majoring in documentary film, he has also taught at the Jakarta Institute of Arts, Paramadina University, and HelloMotion High School. Mentored by leading Indonesian and international filmmakers, with his greatest influence from his father, cinematographer Ki Soleh Ruslani, Ary has built an award-winning body of work. His film Quran Sang Paus (The Pope’s Quran) (2014) was nominated for Best Documentary at the Indonesian Film Festival, while The First Step: Women for Peace (2006) screened at the Jakarta International Film Festival. He has collaborated with the Scottish documentary Institute, British Council Indonesia, and In-Docs on Scene from the Unseen (Merupa), co-managed the series Rahasia Punya Rahasia (Suicide Knot), and released the feature film Rumah Masa Depan in theaters. Since 2023, he has been Project Development Manager and Producer at Matta Cinema Production.

Sales & Distribution Manager, Producer
Chakalica Widyadipraja (b. 1994, Yogyakarta) is an Indonesian film producer with a background in business and management. She has worked across the creative economy, including as line producer for the Wonderful Indonesia (Visit Jateng) campaign, and in 2023 published international studies on ntellectual property, talent development, and digital consumption in Indonesia’s film ecosystem. She is currently a producer and sales & distribution manager at Matta Cinema Production.

Production Manager & Line Producer
Nugi is an Indonesian line producer, screenwriter, and assistant director whose work spans narrative films and commercial video productions. He began his career in 2015 as a Unit Production Manager on Sinung Winahyoko’s short film The Taste of Fences, and made his screenwriting debut with Perfect Dream (dir. Hestu Saputra), released in 2017. Nugi’s passion for cinema started in his student years, inspired by Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting. His early love for film led him to work at a video rental store, where he became known for his curated film recommendations. After co-founding a short-lived but internationally trusted service business in 2012, he redirected his path toward filmmaking—teaching himself the craft of line producing, screenwriting, and assistant directing. He is currently developing his first feature-length fiction project, which examines the legal and social complexities of interfaith marriage in Indonesia. Now Nugi is a line producer for Matta Cinema Production.

Operations Manager
Rosa Luxita Sari is an entrepreneur and film professional from Probolinggo, born in 1987. In 2016, she founded a food and beverage business that has grown successfully and continues to operate today. She entered the film industry in 2019 as a Finance Production Assistant on Taufiq: Lelaki yang Menantang Badai and later worked on Lakhadbaggha 2 (2024), a co-production between Matta Cinema Dunya and Firstray Films. Since 2023, she has served as Operations Manager at PT Matta Cinema Dunya, combining her entrepreneurial expertise with her role in film production
